John Curtis Bomar and Maggie Slater

John Curtis Bomar, the son of Mr. Bomar, was born on Sunday, 20 July 1862 in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois. He died at the age of 86 on Tuesday, 4 January 1949 in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska. The cause of death was apoplexy. He was buried in Prospect Hill cemetery, Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska.

John Curtis Bomar (aged 20) married Maggie Slater (aged 15) on Saturday, 9 December 1882 in Iowa (locale uncertain).

Maggie Slater, the daughter of Thomas Slater and Susan Kyle, was born on Saturday, 7 December 1867 in (Adams), Ohio. She died at the age of 73 on Wednesday, 6 August 1941 in Plainview, Pierce County, Nebraska. The cause of death was valvular heart disease. She was buried in Old Cemetery, Plainview, Pierce County, Nebraska.

The 1900 census lists John C. Bommar as living in (Knox), NE Maggie is listed as the mother of 7 children of whom 6 are living. Ted is not listed. Gertie is the youngest. Blanche is the oldest at 14.
