Mr. Burrows

Mr. Burrows, the son of Stephen Burrows (name uncertain), was born in about 1805 in Northern Ireland. He died at the age of about 72 in about 1877.

Mrs. Burrows was born in about 1805. She died at the age of about 50 in about 1855.

Their children were:

• Thomas Burrows, born in about 1829 in Vermont, died due to the effects of army life in about 1868 in Illinois. He married Martha Lowell.

All we really know about Mr. Burrows is that he died at the age of 72 before
about 1894. He and his parents may have moved to America from Ireland after his
father was disowned for marrying a Protestant. Mrs. Burrows died at the age of
50. Their birth dates were derived by assuming that they were both 25 when
Thomas was born, which is assumed to be 1830 as he died at the age of 38 when
his son (who was born in 1864 or 1865) was three years old.
